I used to believe that intense cardio exercise in the gym would improve my stamina, metabolism and help me to stay healthy. When I learned yoga, my focus used to be on the power yoga until a realized through Anjali's sessions on meditation that the ultimate aim of the all fitness activities is to feel good, feel happy, energetic and to make the connection between body and mind. Some physical activity is necessary to bring the heart rate up and It can be done through any form of exercises or yoga postures. The real benefit of that exercise is only when it follows the pranayama and meditation. I learned all this from Anjali's sessions that no exercise is complete without the pranayama and meditation. Finishing the workout without meditation is like spending all the time in cooking food and when the food is ready, walking away from the plate without eating.
Although I read  a lot about how to do the meditation and the different techniques and types of meditation, as a beginner, I was not able to practice it by myself and could not focus and as a result did not realize its value. It is important to have someone guide you in the beginning. Meditation is an acquired skill and it comes through practice and guidance from an accomplished guide. I was able to fulfill that gap through Anjali's meditation sessions. Whether in person at her Inner Bliss studio in The Woodlands or though her recorded sessions, I always end my yoga or workout practice with the meditation and feel very energized and fresh for rest of the day- Rajiv L

I have attended a few Yoga and meditation sessions lead by Anjali and I cannot wait for the next one! Her commitment towards her students and her individual attention is commendable. The asana instruction's are very detailed and are scientifically thought out based on Anjali's extensive knowledge of human anatomy and her background of physical therapy. It is great to understand the nuances of correctly performing the asanas and meditations. She rightly stresses that everybody is different and the same program would not work for everyone. It is always an encouraging practice with Anjali . I highly recommend Anjali to the folks who are looking to looking to go to the next level in improving their health and reduce stress through mind body integration.-Vishal P.

  1. I have attended many yoga classes but NONE of them compared to Anjali's class. WOW!!! Anjali is a TRUE yoga instructor - old school, not this westernized yoga we find in gyms and other work out places. This is a TRUE connection with ourselves, very deep and relaxing. The restorative yoga class blew me away and I felt AMAZING afterwards!!

  2. My session was very relaxing and peaceful, and I could feel Anjali tuning in to my body and knowing exactly where to guide pressure and direction, which is so important in a MFR/CS practitioner. I felt very good immediately after the session, but about 30 minutes after I got home I felt almost euphoric! My face flushed, my mood became lighter, and I experienced more back and hip flexibility than I had felt in years! The effects lasted all day!
