What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a type of guided meditation that is practiced while lying down on a mat. It has been around for hundreds of years. It is a combination of progressive relaxation of the whole body, breathing practices, guided visualizations, and affirmations.

I have never practiced yoga or meditation before. Can I do it?

Yes. It is a great practice for beginners. You don't need any experience. All you have to do it lie down on the mat, close your eyes and follow the instructions. You can use pillows, eye pillows, blankets or bolsters for added comfort.
