Description of classes
We teach and practice gentle and restorative yoga to help your body heal and relieve your low back pain.
We also offer gentle yoga classes to help you build strength and flexibility as well as lower stress and anxiety to help you become fit, active, happy and healthy again!
Yin Yoga/ Meditation to Reduce Stress and Anxiety
All levels. This is a meditative practice focused on deep stretching, breathing and relaxation. Props are used to support the body as postures are held for an extended time allowing for deep stretches that are soft, rather than muscle driven. Class ends with a guided Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" which takes the mind and body into the state of deep relaxation where authentic healing can occur.
Restorative Yoga/ Meditation for Organic Healing: 
All levels. This class focuses on gentle flowing movements to help restore movements in the stiff joints, reduce muscle tension and lower stress and anxiety. It also includes meditation practice to gain mental clarity and focus along with breathing practices to boost your energy. The class concludes with deep relaxation technique so you leave feeling calm, centered and blissfully relaxed!
  Gentle Yoga for Healthy Back:
All levels. This class is designed to specifically support and care for the back in a simple, easy and safe sequence of poses. The class will focus on lowering back pain, relieving muscle tension, increasing flexibility and strengthening core and back muscles. Relaxation techniques and breathing exercises will be used to help reduce stress and boost energy.
