Anjali Gadre, LMT

"I believe that the body holds the wisdom to heal itself. Given the proper tools, it will go back to harmony and balance."
Hello! Thank you for being here. My name is Anjali and I am honored by your interest in my work. I am a massage therapist, yoga teacher, craniosacral therapy specialist and a certified holistic health coach. I am a lifelong student! I love to learn new techniques that enhance the quality of our lives.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, 1995
Yoga Instructor Certification Course, 2013, 2014
Massage Therapy License and Certification, 2013

My story:
I have been a physical therapist since 1995 but I don't practice it anymore. Now I have dedicated my life to my new passion: Yoga!
I help women live a blissful life using simple and easy yoga poses, breath awareness and meditation!

After graduating with a degree in Physical Therapy, I got married to my wonderful husband Andy and moved to NY. It was exciting and thrilling to move to a new country. I have loved living in the USA. I met great teachers that taught me valuable lessons to help me grow as a person and a therapist. I have made great friends here.

I know how it is to live in pain. I have experienced it myself. In early 2002 when I was pregnant with my son, I started having low back pain which eventually started radiating to right leg making it numb! My co-workers in our PT clinic used to treat me with traditional physical therapy. I would be fine for some time but the pain always came back. It kept on getting worst. I gained a lot of weight, developed anxiety and depression because I could not keep up with the demands of my life. My doctor put me on anti-depressants and pain pills. It looked like I needed to have surgery to find any relief. It was caught in the whirlwind of pain, stress and extreme fatigue!

I was determined to find another way to heal my body and reclaim my life! My search for holistic pain management leads me to Yoga and Meditation. It was very difficult at first but somehow I managed to stick to it. I DID NOT want to have that surgery!

With regular practice of yoga and meditation, I started noticing BIG changes! I felt so relaxed and peaceful. I had not experienced that for years! I haven’t looked back ever since! I completely turned my life around. The credit goes to yoga, meditation, and clean eating!

My Philosophy:

I love helping people create their vision of holistic health. I believe that the body holds the blueprint for vibrant health and energy. Therefore, given a caring and relaxing environment, the body will use those tools to create and re-create optimal health.

During private yoga sessions, I work as a facilitator, holding safe space for this natural healing process to occur. Every session is very relaxing, energizing, and totally unpredictable to promote authentic healing.

I would love to guide and support you on your journey. Email me or call me at (832) 610-5564 to get started.
